Moon through the Palm Trees - Available Now

A little late writing this but excited to be sharing my trip with you all! At the beginning of March I travelled to the West Coast to get some sun and away from Boston’s winter. Made my way out to Vegas, Joshua Tree and San Diego. I was working though and have been pretty tired, finally catching up!

Las Vegas

Pictured is the Paris Balloon in Las Vegas. A 180 foot tall sign located at the Paris-Las Vegas hotel and casino. A replica of the passenger carrying hot air balloon, paying tribute to the Montgolfier brothers.

Flew into Vegas early Saturday morning and hit the ground running. I was pleasantly surprised by the daytime photos I was able to take. Started in the arts district than made out way over to Fremont Street and The Strip. Had some pretty good food and caught the Michael Jackson ONE Cirque du Soleil. Highly recommend watching the water fountains at The Bellagio and brunch at Cherí Rooftop.

Joshua Tree National Park

Named after the regions Joshua Trees, This park is one of the United States' official International Dark Sky parks. Home to rugged rock formations and beautiful sunsets.

Drove to Joshua Tree after stopping at the iconic Welcome to Vegas sign and was able to catch the sunset. I was hoping to get some cool night shots but with the full moon, the night sky didn’t create a great view for stars. Still a great time and definitely enjoyed it!

Joshua tree was another one night stay and then I was off to San Diego for a few days. Was able to see some amazing sunsets at Sunset Cliffs and Black’s Beach. Funny enough, my favorite shot came right outside our Airbnb. The full moon ended up looking incredible through the palm trees. Highly recommend Taco Stand and staying in Mission Beach!
